Build Explained
This is one of the more aggressive legs, but I like the price. Ramos has already shown his shooting volume this season with 14 attempts across his first four Serie A starts, including eight shots and three on target against Venezia.
There is also the obvious former-club angle. Ramos came through at Benfica and should be desperate to make an impact against them at San Siro. Milan should look to get him involved early, especially with Pulisic and the wide players creating around him.
Two shots on target is never a safe line, but at 2.25 we are being paid for the risk. If Milan create enough chances, Ramos should be the man getting most of the big opportunities.
This is probably my favourite player leg in the builder. Pavlidis has been in outstanding form and is Benfica's clear focal point in attack.
He has recorded at least one shot on target in 9 of his 10 competitive starts this season and has already scored 12 goals across those matches. Even in a difficult away game, Benfica should still create a few opportunities and Pavlidis normally gets his chances.
We only need him to test Maignan once. At 1.40 it is not a huge price, but I really like it as one of the safer legs holding the builder together.
This one is more about the match script than pure recent corner stats. At San Siro I expect Milan to take the initiative, play higher up the pitch and spend plenty of time attacking through the wide areas.
With players like Pulisic, Moreira and Chukwueze capable of going directly at defenders, Milan should generate blocked crosses and shots if Benfica are forced deeper for long periods.
The price of 1.90 tells us this is not a banker, and Benfica are dangerous themselves. But if Milan control the territory the way I expect, I like them to edge the corner count.
At 2.05 I think Milan are worth backing at San Siro. They are still unbeaten in Serie A this season and showed good character to come back from 2-0 down against Lazio at the weekend.
Benfica arrive in brilliant form, so this is definitely not a free win, but that is also why we are getting above even money on Milan at home. Ramos, Pulisic and the attacking quality around them give Milan enough to hurt Benfica if the game becomes open.
The historical matchup also favours Milan and I expect home advantage to matter. At 2.05, I think there is enough value to back the Rossoneri to edge a close European game.
