What is a bet builder?

A bet builder, sometimes called a same-game multi, lets you combine several markets from one fixture into a single bet. You might pair a team to win with over 2.5 goals and a named player to score, all in the same match.

Every added selection, or “leg”, multiplies the odds, so returns grow quickly. The catch is that every leg also has to land, so more legs means a lower chance of winning. The skill is choosing legs that support each other.

The key idea: correlation

The best bet builders combine selections that tend to happen together in the same game. When one leg becoming true makes another leg more likely, you get more value than the odds suggest.

If a strong favourite wins, they have probably scored more than once, so “win plus over 1.5 team goals” often go hand in hand. Betting on outcomes that pull against each other is where value leaks away.
