The 4-3 victory over HK was chaotic but important. Grindavik raced into a three-goal lead inside 29 minutes through Rúnar Ingi Eysteinsson, Aron Skúli Brynjarsson and Heiðar Snær Ragnarsson. HK recovered to make it 3-3, only for 16-year-old Mikael Máni Þorfinnsson to head in the winner during added time.
Ray Anthony has generally wanted his side to defend with better spacing and work together without the ball. That remains a work in progress, as Grindavik have conceded 12 goals across their last three away fixtures. Going forward, however, the summer arrivals have made them more dangerous. Ibrahima Kalil Camara Diakite brings forward passing and strength in midfield, Arnar Breki Gunnarsson has settled quickly, and Brynjarsson and Heiðar can support the central striker from wide areas.
This game should allow Grindavik to spend more time on the front foot than they managed at Afturelding or Fylkir. Aegir’s confidence looks fragile, particularly once they fall behind, and the visitors have every reason to keep pushing for the goals that would make survival safe.

Why Grindavik Asian Handicap -1.5 Makes Sense
Grindavik are not being backed simply because they are the team with something to play for. The strongest part of the case is the condition of Aegir’s defence, which has conceded at least six goals in each of its last three matches.

Aegir have no confirmed new suspension ahead of the final round. Goalkeeper remains the main selection question after Ibrahima Jallow started against Throttur, Gabriel Michael Thull played the previous game and Haukur Logi Tryggvason returned to the bench following a late withdrawal against Afturelding.
