That is enough attacking depth to make West Ham favourites, but this may not become another open game. Wrexham have found a clear identity under Parkinson. Their 3-4-2-1 gives them three centre-backs around Anthony Patterson, wing-backs who can drop into the defensive line, and a physical focal point in Kieffer Moore when they need an outlet.
Wrexham’s latest result was a 1-1 draw with Burnley. Jacques Ekomié headed in the equaliser from Issa Kaboré’s cross, underlining the importance of the wing-backs in their attacking play. West Ham may rotate after three matches in eight days. Taty Castellanos missed the Bolton squad with a hamstring issue and is doubtful, which could open the door for Piroe to lead the line after his second-half appearance at Bolton. Pablo is also available after starting that game, while Solomon and Joël Veltman are realistic options to return from the bench.
Mavropanos and Maximilian Kilman have formed the recent centre-back pairing in front of Mads Hermansen. Tomáš Souček was not involved in the Bolton matchday squad, so his availability remains unclear. There is no confirmed West Ham suspension for this match.
Wrexham have their own selection concerns after the Burnley draw.
